Collage Stamping with Cheers and Sips - Chain Card Swap for Carolina! Thats me.

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about ME and the CASES of my card. I encourage you to start here, at the beginning and follow along to see the progression of this card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

This is my round and I have created a Collage of images using nearly every single image in Cheers and Sips. Although this Suite has recently retired - you can recreate this look with any stamp set that has at least 3 images. Its fun, colourful and easy to do!

Lets take a closer look at this card. I darkened up the edges of this front stamped panel with some Crumb Cake ink and my large blending brush, Its a subtle . I tore a piece of Masking paper (item 155480) to protect where I was going to stamp my sentiment "Cheers Cheers Cheers"
I had so much fun stamping ALLLLL those images in all my favourite colours.
Have you tried this technique before? Did you love or hate it?
I continued the theme to the inside, masking the bottom and stamping along the bottom of the card.
I loved using this Suite -thank you Cheers & Sips!

A Flag card for Lets Craft Together Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Let's Craft Together Blog Hop! This months theme is Favourite Holidays or Celebrations. Well, I think they're all my favourites to be honest, birthdays are always fun, Christmas is hectic but also rewarding and Easter is all about the chocolate but theres one celebration above all others I want to acknowledge.

Today I have created an Aboriginal flag card. NAIDOC week is one of my favourite Australian celebrations, I think its one of the most important times in the year and this year NAIDOC week celebrates 50 years!

After cutting my 'flag' pieces in Basic Black, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight I ran these panels thru the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing folder to give the card texture but more so, this embossing folder has always reminded me of Aboriginal dot art, so it was fitting to use it on this card front.
The Mini Alphabet dies is perfect to add your own personalised greeting or sentiment, I spelt out NAIDOC in the flag colours.
For the final touches I added some little dots to the inside panel with my Stampin Blends

Dotted Circle Embossing Folder is on the LAST CHANCE, grab a bargain or 2 whilst stocks last!

A Book Fold card - Chain Card Swap for Tracy

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Tracy and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the beginning and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 9th in the chain for this round and have created a Book fold card. I have used DSP and pre-printed die cuts featured in the Hobby Haven Suite.
Lets take a closer look at this card. I have tried to recreate as many of the elements as I could. The Timid Tiger ribbon on the "book spine", foliage in the background, my plant focal image and part of a circle element (Timid Tiger - my new fav!)
I love rich earthy tones and had a lot fun playing with Cajun Craze, Timid Tiger, Garden Green and Coastal Cabana.
I love how you get a surprise on the inside (left side) with that dynamic diagonal cut, to tie the inside together I stuck a little pre-printed die cut plant to the corner.

Hello Panel Card - Chain Card Swap for Monique

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Monique and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the beginning and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 3rd in the chain for this round and have created a DSP Panel card.
I'm loving using Cloud Cover right now, so I embraced a monotone-like approach with patterns from  Peaceful Garden DSP pack.

Lets take a closer look at this card.
Although the papers are from a christmas pack, the reverse patterns can adapt to any occasion.
"Hello" is from the Everyday Arches Bundle (retired)
The "leaf" die cut is from (retired) Christmas Greenery
Keeping the inside very simple with just a simple strip of DSP
A great panel card that could be remade in all the PAPERS!

Unbridled Beauty Horse Card - Chain Card Swap for Ros

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Ros and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the beginning and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

For this round I have created a fully decorated Horse card using Unbridled Beauty stamps and Country Woods DSP.

Lets take a closer look at this card. I really like the colour combination Country Woods offer, I used Misty Moonlight cardstock and ink for the sentiment. Coastal Cabana for the card base and some brown tones for the stamping of the horses.

I stamped the Horse image directly onto the white dsp in Early Espresso ink,  It looks so rustic and really cool with some details in medium/dark Stampin Up blends.
The front flap is a little deceptive as it looks like a regular card front, but as you'll see in the next pic, the front flap is slightly shorter disguised by the DSP I've used.
The rest of the card is decorated with the same DSP pack - a great way to use lots of that hoarded DSP! I love the 2 little horses stamped on the inside they look cute behid the wooden gate and fence.
This stamp set is a real gem, make sure you get yours while online exclusive stocks last.

Along the Lines for Lets Craft Together Blog Hop

Welcome back to another with Let's Craft Together Blog Hop! This months theme is Animal Kingdom. Its not until you have a specific theme that you realise you actually only have 1 stamp set that has animals!

I have created a cool jungle like card using the Tiger from Along the Lines as my inspiration.
Theme: Animal Kingdom
Lets take a closer look at this card. I'm also featuring February's Product of the Month - Painted Illusions 12'x12' DSP.  This particular sheet is where I drew my colour inspiration from - Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock ad Granny Apple Green. They make a fab combo!

Doesn't the Tiger look at home on the front there. I stamp it in Granny Apple Green and Lost Lagoon for the card base.
I never forget the inside, again he looks super chill with his paws hanging over the edge of the DSP.
Lets have a closer look... I cut around the paws as shown below...
Then wedged the DSP strip under his paws.
This set is really great and fun for any occasion or person.
